Appeals in Terrorist Case to be Heard in 2025

The Federal Supreme Court of the UAE will issue a verdict on March 4, 2025, regarding appeals from 59 convicted individuals linked to the 'Terrorist Justice and Dignity Organisation' case.


Appeals in Terrorist Case to be Heard in 2025

The Supreme Court of the Federal level of the UAE began considering appeals from 59 convicted individuals. During the process, the charges of criminal activity were confirmed for 53 defendants, including leaders and participants of the terrorist organization Muslim Brotherhood, as well as six companies. Various sentences were imposed, including positive imprisonment and fines up to 20 million dirhams.

The prosecutor also submitted an appeal against the decisions regarding 24 defendants affiliated with the terrorist organization "Reform Call" (Da'wat Al-Islah). The Supreme Judicial Council set the date for issuing the verdict on all appeals - Thursday, March 4, 2025.

This is happening within the framework of the consideration of appeals on the decision, submitted to the Abu Dhabi Federal Court of Appeals - chamber on state security cases in case No. 452 of 2023. The decision concerns a case entitled "Terrorist Organization 'Justice and Integrity'".
